Jodi McMahon, LAc, MS,received her Masters degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Bastyr University. She also completed her Chinese Herbal studies in Shanghai, China. Jodi is a WA State Licensed Acupuncturist and Nationally Board Certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Her practice focuses on trigger point acupuncture, which releases the muscle and/or muscles affecting range of motion which can cause pain. The trigger point release technique is great for athletes, resolving motor vehicle accident injuries, and all other acute inflammatory issues. Other specialties are: women's health, stress management, emotional wellness, relief of headaches, and other chronic pain management.
Her mission is to offer the most thorough, comprehensive, and compassionate care within the field of Chinese Medicine. By creating a calm and tranquil healing environment, Jodi's patients are better able to let go of the daily stressors and focus on replenishing their body's innate ability to heal. Jennifer Olson Weir, LMP, Massage Therapist, is a graduate of the Inland Massage Institute in Spokane, WA. Originally from California, she is a graduate of California State University in Fullerton with a Business Administration degree. Jennifer is NCBTMB board certified and a member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA). She has been in practice since 2006. Before becoming a Massage Practitioner, Jennifer's background is primarily in marketing and sales, with experience in the spa industry. She was inspired to become a massage therapist after working at a desk for many years, experiencing neck and shoulder pain. She has attended several hours of continuing education focusing in deep tissue massage, clinical approaches and neuromuscular therapies. Tina Heyer, LMP, Massage Therapist, studied Massage Therapy at Inland Massage Institute in Spokane, and graduated at the top of her class in February, 2005. She started her own practice in May, 2005. First she worked in Brown's Addition inside the old Massage Magazine building, then moved to Alder Family Chiropractic for 2 1/2 years. Tina is a native of the Spokane area, and has always been drawn to natural forms of healing. She believes the body has an innate ability to heal itself, given the right circumstances and treatment.
AJ Sanders, LMP, has been practicing massage since November 2006. She enjoys a part time practice as she has a full time career in Public Health. Giving massages provides relaxation and the opportunity to enjoy one-on-one time with clients. Each massage is designed to meet the unique needs of each client. AJ is skilled in many modalities to include the following:
